Mold Before and After

In Brenham, these before and after pictures were taken in a water heater closet. 

The water heater was old and the pipes were corroded. The Insurance Company sent a plumber out to replace the pipes but the plumber would not do any work because it was full of mold. The water heater closet in the garage also backs up to a hallway and pantry in the house, which both was affected from the mold as well.

The affected materials consisted of drywall, ceilings, baseboard, wood door trim, wood framing studs, and insulation. We first put up a containment barrier around affected areas to avoid cross contamination. We then started removing all of the materials that were affected by mold. 

After everything was taken out, we placed an air mover to filter out the air.
