Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure.
This year SERVPRO of Spring/Tomball had thirty-five participants in the 7th Annual Paces4Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Event! Paces4Pink, formerly Sherine's Stride, was designed to raise awareness of breast cancer and bring families, friends, and guests together for support. Sherine Amanollahi was a Tomball Police Dispatcher who lost her fight against breast cancer in 2012 at age 30.
This is a certified 5k run or 1-miles walk. All of the proceeds are donated to our local, non-profit, TOMAGWA to provide free breast cancer screenings. Please feel free to invite all friends and family to this great event next year!
